Woodlake Spring Carnival Sunday April 6th from 11-3

Come join in the fun. All day, we have music, the Jail, games, prizes, crafts, food, chili cook off, bake sale, cake/pie walk, haircuts, facepainting, cow “milking”, photo booth, and gift basket raffle. Spiritwear will also be on sale. Here is the schedule of some events… the cake/pie walk will be occurring every 30 minutes and will be announced. Don’t miss your kids dancing routines!

11:00 Carnival begins
11:30 Cheerleaders then Grades K & 1 Dance
12:00 Cheerleaders then Grades 2 & 3 Dance
12:10 Pony Express Race
12:30 Cheerleaders then Grades 4 & 5 Dance
12:40 Woodlake “Idol”
1:10 Coach Danni’s Dancers – All Grades (This will be special)
1:30 Woodlake “Idol”
2:15 Chili Cook Off winners announced
2:30 Water Balloon Toss
2:45 Gift Basket and 50/50 Raffle Drawings
3:00 Carnival ends and clean up begins :)

Chili Cook Off

Woodlake Spring Carnival Sunday, April 6th, will include
a chili cook off with prizes for 1st and 2nd place.
Entry is limited to 10 participants.


Do you make the finest chili south of the border? 

  • Fill out the entry form and return to the PTSA box in the office no later than Wednesday, April 2nd.
  • Bring 1 gallon of home cooked chili in a crock pot to Woodlake Spring Carnival at 11 am.

             We will provide power to keep your chili warm and cups to provide for tastings. 

  • Serve chili to customers / judges will cast a vote after tasting all entries.
  • Winners will be announced at 2:30 pm.

Bake Sale Sign Up




We need whole cakes for the cake walk & baked items for the bake sale



  • Download and Fill out the entry form and return to the PTSA box in the office no later than Wednesday, April 2nd.
  • Please individually wrap each bake sale item if possible.
  • Please provide an ingredients list and description of baked items.
  • Please bring the baked goods on April 6th, between 10am – 11am to be set up.

Spring Carnival Volunteers Needed

We need volunteers at the following times:
For set up on Sat 4/5 from 11am-2pm and Sun 4/6 from 9-11am.
For the event, April 6, from 11am-3pm.
For Tear Down/Clean up, on Sun 4/6 from 3-5pm.
Volunteers can sign up on the online SignUp Genius site listed below - it’s easy!  There are also flyers posted in each room.  Or drop a note int he PSTA box in the office with your name and contact information and when you are available to help.
