School and Family Partnership Conference

The third annual School Family Partnership Conference will be held on March 20, 2010 at Sutter Middle School. There will be numerous workshops, plus a keynote speech from Gerald Newmark, Ph.D. on “How to Raise Emotionally Healthy Children”. Information regarding the conference can be found on the attached flyer.

2010 Yearbook

It’s time to start compiling the 2010 Yearbook. We are appealing to our school community to assist us in providing photos. If you are volunteering at school, please take your camera along and capture kids at P.E, Art, Library,orchestra, reading etc. If you have photos from past events this year, we really need those too. Please email pics to photos@felicity-andy.com or leave in the PTA box in the office clearly labeled Yearbook.

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Be a part of organizing one of Woodlake’s largest fundraisers of the year. We are looking for people to be on the Spring Carnival Committee. YMCA Spring Camp

Woodlake YMCA will be providing Spring Camp from March 29th, 2010 through April 2nd, 2010 for kinders thru 8th grade. We will be open Monday thru Friday from 7am to 6pm. We will have sports, silly snacks, science, arts and crafts and more! Space is limited. Financial Assistance is available for those who qualify.

Woodlake Joins My Coke Rewards

My Coke Rewards for Schools is a way for parents, friends, and others in the community to support local K-12 schools by donating My Coke Rewards points which can be earned from hundreds of participating Coca-Cola products. Schools can turn donated points into a variety of rewards that support students.

Walk-a-Thon

Save the date!! On Saturday March 13th. Woodlake is hosting its annual Walk-a-Thon. The goal is to raise money for our physical education program. Suggested Donation $10 per person. All pledges should be flat amounts, no per-lap pledges. Donations should be collected at time of sign-up, no billing will be done by the Woodlake PTSA. Checks should be made out to Woodlake PTSA Walk-a-thon. All donations are tax deductible. See the attached pledge form.

Every Tuesday Night is Barone’s Night
